ATX Sports & Adventures Team
Dustin Woodhead, Owner
Dustin started ATX Sports & Adventures in 2011 and loves seeing people come together to have a great time! As a sports and adventure enthusiast, Dustin grew up playing just about every sport possible and as a Native Alaskan is no stranger to adventure. In 2006, Dustin moved to Austin with his wife Chelsea from Spokane, WA after earning both his Bachelors of Business Administration and Masters of Business Administration from Gonzaga University. He loves talking Zags basketball and even getting out on the court. You may find him in our Men's Basketball League coming off the bench as one of the best "non-scoring role players" in the league!
Alison Zacharias, Operations & Event Manager
Alison comes to the ATX Sports & Adventures team from Richmond, Virginia. Growing up, Alison was involved in many different sports, including basketball, track, and field hockey which she continued into college. She earned her B.S. in Exercise Science from UNC Wilmington, where she discovered her passion of pursuing a career in bringing communities together through sport. After graduating from UNC Wilmington, Alison enrolled in the Center for Sport Leadership at Virginia Commonwealth University, where she earned her M.Ed in Sport Leadership. As a native Virginian, she has a deep love for the water and spends most of her time out on her paddleboard or running along the sandy shores. You can catch her cheering on her beloved Redskins, checking out local music, and celebrating the gift that is Taco Tuesday.
